Try Outs

I had to make a decision.

I wanted to be in show choir next year but I didnt want to try out, because it was just you and the teacher in a room, and that sounded really awkward. So she kept passing around this little notebook thing that was for signing up for auditions.

Pff... Pass it on.

But then i decided i kind of wanted to, and on the announcements that day, it said "IF YOU HAVE NOT SIGNED UP FOR SHOW CHOIR! THIS IS YOUR ABSOLUTE LAST CHANCE THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO. SEE MRS. DODGE AT LUNCH TO TRY OUT." So i was super nervouse because i didnt want to try out, so i came up with a plan. I would go to ms. dodge's room at the end of the say and i would say "So was that the last time i could try out?" and she would say "OH NO! no no no get right up here and sing me a song. Now. :)" so the i would have my friends in there too.

So we went at the end of the day to her room, but she wasnt there. Boo hoo. Ok lets go.

But then on the announcments the NEXT morning,
"ALRIGHT STUDENTS, THIS IS THE LAST TIME YOU CAN TR OUT FOR SHOW CHOIR!! SEE MS. DODGE AT LUNCH."

I was determined. I was going to do it.

So i go into her room at lunch and she's like "Oh are you here for show choir?!"
Anyway i hgad to fill out a paper and then she took me into this room that was by the band room. "Ok sing me a song."
Me; starting to sing one "Ehhhh"
Her: "Oh you know what? you sound like your trying to fight the band music lets go to the stage."
Was i really that bad? :(
"Ok NOW sing me a song" she said.
Me: "Um...uhh..."
"Just anything from the play, or the radio, or anything!"
Me: "Twinkle twinkle little star.......(And the rest of the song)"
And it was over. I was glad i tried out...



Even if it meant i had to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
